Orignial recipe from India. The Hazelwood Girl Guide District used this recipe while we hostessed a Jota in 1985.
1 cup self-raising flour
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 medium bananas ( ripe)
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Mash bananas thoroughly and mix immedialtely with the sugar.
Add margarine and mix well. Add eggs one at a time and mix.
Add vanilla and flour.
Mix gently for a minute.
Bake in a deep tin lined with paper and cook in a moderate oven 180 deg C for 45 minutes.
