Strawberry lemonade

Especially good when the strawberries are chilled and the weather is hot. Guides learned to use a blender, common sense in the kitchen and team work. As this recipe is best made just before serving have all the ingredients in appropriate quantity sized bowls.Once started blending stop, empty blender, reattach and fill and start again.

Ingredients (serves 6)
• 3/4 cup (185ml) strained lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
• 1/2 cup (110g) caster sugar
• 500g strawberries, hulled, halved
• 3 cups (750ml) chilled sparkling water
Method
1. Roll, cut and squeeze the lemons for the juice. (De-pip if necessary the juice.)
2. Combine the lemon juice, sugar in a bowl stiring until the sugar dissolves. 2. Place the strawberries in a blender with the lemon mixture. Puree until smooth.
3. Add the sparkling water and pulse quickly to combine.
4. Pour strawberry lemonade into a jug or glass bottle and serve with ice.
